NORTHERN IRELAND ITF TAEKWON-DO SUMMER CAMP 2026

Who: Open to ages 13+
World Cup Training Session 1
To make the best use of time and hall space, the squad day will be split into two sessions, ensuring all participants receive adequate floor and training time.
Pre-Junior and Junior participants should attend the morning session from 10:00am to 1:00pm.
Senior and Veteran participants should attend the afternoon session from 1:15pm to 4:15pm.

The 2026 AETF European Championships will take place in Maribor, Slovenia, from April 12. to April 19., 2026.
This prestigious event will mark the 40th Senior, 31st Junior, and 3rd Pre-Junior European Championships.

ITA Umpire Training
The ITA Umpire Workshop will take place on Saturday 21st March in Integrity Martial Arts Academy, Ashbourne from 1-4pm. The course is open to ITA members aged 14 and older, blue belt and above. Dress code for the workshop is dobok and tracksuit top.
The workshops will focus on the role of the umpire for sparring and patterns, the role of the ring assistant as well as the role & duties of the centre referee and jury president.
The course will be led by ITA Umpire Chairperson Mr Carl Smullen & ITA Umpire Tutor Ms Rachel Kennedy

IMAC Women in Sport Event
The IMAC Women's Committee are pleased to invite female members to the annual IMAC Women in Sport event celebrating females in martial arts being held Sunday 8th March in Dublin.
This event is open to all female members aged 16yrs and over and will allow an opportunity to try out different styles from Kendo to Ninjitsu, Taekwon-Do and Aikido.
There is also the opportunity to participate in a professional live action promo which will be recorded on the day.

Introduction to Coaching
The next Introduction to Coaching Taekwon-Do Course will take place in Mitchelstown over the weekend of 07/08 March.
This course is aimed at new assistant coaches/instructors who have little or no experience in teaching Taekwon-Do. Over the course of one weekend, you will be introduced to basic coaching practices and gain familiarity with the methods and techniques used by our most experienced Instructors to get the best outcomes for their students.

The Irish Taekwon-Do Association Technical Committee invites Instructors & Assistant Instructors to attend a focused instructor training session outlining proposed modifications to the Black Belt syllabus.
This session is designed to:
Explain the rationale behind proposed changes
Ensure clarity and consistency in delivery
Support instructors in preparing students effectively
Provide an opportunity for discussion and feedback on the proposed changes before they go to the board for approval
