Black Belt Grading June 7th 2026 - Applications Open

pplications are now open for the Black Belt Grading, taking place at Donabate Portrane Community Centre, on Sunday June 7th. 

The deadline for all candidate and examiner / narrator applications is Monday May 25th.

Grading times:

Grading for 6th Degree candidates: 9am to 11a.m. (arrive by 8:30 a.m.)

Grading for 1st to 5th Degree Candidates: 11 a.m. (arrive by 10:30 a.m.)

Applications for examiners panels and narrators should be emailed to sryan@taekwondo.ie with Cc to Master Jones (info@dublintkd.com) by May 25th

A photo of each candidate must also be submitted when applying to sryan@taekwondo.ie. Save the photo using the candidate's name so they can be easily identified. 

Please transfer all fees to the ITA account by the May 25th deadline, using the candidate's name as the reference.

Only complete applications—including the online form, emailed photo & full fee paid by the deadline—will be accepted. 

Instructors are asked to ensure their candidates meet all grading requirements. Note the requirement of an ITF Plaque for all 3rd Dan and above, an International Instructor certificate for all tests for 4th Dan and above (email sryan@taekwondo.ie for access to the online exam) and Do course / IIC requirements for those testing for 4th Degree or higher.
