National Team Jan 14th 2018

Dear Instructor,


The 1st squad training of 2018 in prep for the Euros in Slovenia takes place in Upper Glanmire Sports Hall on Sunday January 14th. 

Schedule
10am to 11.30am Patterns (Finalising selections, technical development & physical development for patterns and kicking)
11.45am to 1pm Sparring (a small number of selections to be finalised during this session)
1.pm to 1.45pm Lunch break
1.45pm to 3pm Sparring
Briefing by managers on budget, paperwork, procedures etc
3pm to 4.30pm team pattern (focus on technical corrections).


Directions for National Team Training in Upper Glanmire Sports Hall 

Directions to Upper Glanmire Sports Hall from the North Ring Road:
-Drive along North Ring Road (R635) until you come to the main intersection with the R614 at Ballyvolane (O’Callaghans Garage / Texaco Garage (Dunnes Stores is very close to this cross roads))
-Turn on to R614 (Dunnes Stores is on the left hand side of this road about 300m after you turn on to it ), drive past Dunnes Stores and continue for about 1.5Km until you come to White’s Cross.
-Turn right at White’s Cross on to R616 and continue along R616 for about 1.9Km. The new Upper Glanmire Sports Hall is on your left beside the Upper Glanmire National School.
For a detailed map, go to googlemaps ( http://maps.google.com ) and type Upper Glanmire, County Cork, Ireland in the seach window. This will show all the roads leading to Upper Glanmire.

From the Dublin-Cork motorway M8: proceed to the roundabout at the end of the M8 motorway. Turn off (third exit) the roundabout onto the N8 (do not go under the Jack Lynch Tunnel). Proceed along the N8 towards Cork. Go straight through the next roundabout (first exit) and continue on the N8 for about 1.3 Km, Drive up the slip road on the left and turn right at the top to take you over the N8 and onto the North Ring Road (R635). Follow the “directions as outlined above to get to Upper Glanmire Sports Hall from the North Ring Road.
