Irish Taekwon-Do Association (ITA) is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Donal O'Donoghue into the role of AETF Reporter with the All Europe Taekwon-Do Federation (AETF) based on the decision of the AETF Board of Directors on 30th August 2010. Mr. O'Donoghue's term of employment will be 1st September 2010 to  31st August 2011. Mr. O'Donoghue will be reporting on AETF and ITF events and matters of interest and interviewing top competitors and Masters for publication on the official AETF website. Coaching Ireland recently conducted an intensive Tutor Development Course for the Irish Martial Arts Commission which took place from the 9th-13th August in Mulhuddart Sport Taekwon-Do Club in Dublin 15. As part of the Coaching Development Programme for Ireland, Coaching Ireland, in partnership with National Governing Bodies trains tutors, who have been nominated by their respective NGB’s. Tutors play an enormously important role within their specific sports in the design, delivery and review of coach education programmes. To date seven hundred and twenty six tutors from all Irish Sports Council recognised sports have completed Level 2 Tutor training. In the past two years Coaching Ireland has also run nine sports specific tutor courses. Tutors influence in sport is immense and their responsibility to improve the number of coaches and the standard of coaching is a challenging and deeply rewarding one. The Taekwon-Do Advisory Board was represented by Master Kenneth Wheatley, Mr. Stephen Ryan and Mr. Donal O'Donoghue who successfully completed the course. See Photos
