Mr. Adrian Byrne commenced his Taekwon-Do career in 1989 at Shannon Taekwon-Do Club, then under the instruction of Mr. Tim Forde.

 Mr. Byrne has completed five International Instructor Training Courses, including one under General Choi Hong Hi in 1999. Mr. Byrne is a qualified National and International Umpire class ‘A’ and is a CDPI Level 2 Coach Tutor and Taekwon-Do Level 1 coach.

 As a competitor Mr. Byrne has held National Champion titles in Pattern and Sparring. At international level, Mr Byrne has medalled at European and World Championships, European and World Cups and at international opens.

 Mr. Byrne is currently ITA Coaching Officer, a member of the Executive Committee and Technical and Instruction Committee. As well as his Taekwon-Do qualifications Mr. Byrne also holds an Honours Degree in Sport and Exercise Science from the University of Limerick.
